What do we do?

Goals

  1. Family Education: Schools and community partners engage families and caregivers with knowledge of SoR and grade-level literacy standards; information about their child’s learning; and tools necessary to provide support.
  2. Out of School Time Experiences: Students receive quality evidence-based literacy support via widely accessible after-school, summer, and high-dosage tutoring experiences.
  3. Pre-K Supports: Families are able to access strong early learning support for their children.

Priorities

  1. Provide families and caregivers with information and targeted resources/supports via schools and community partners.
  2. Expand and align training in SoR for community partners.
  3. Expand high-quality tutoring & summer literacy partnerships.
  4. Expand access to early learning (pre-K) via community partners.
